About Our Church

Our Mission

No matter who you are or what life has brought, there is a place for you here. Grace Community Church in Brunswick, GA is a gospel-centered community devoted to making disciples of all nations where spiritual growth and scriptural-holiness is part of our missional living.

In October of 2023, we embarked on a new chapter as a small Nazarene congregation, launching anew with fresh purpose and excitement. Since then, God has done amazing works in and through us, richly blessing our church family as we’ve grown together in faith. We appreciate your time in visiting our website and we hope you will join us on Sundays and Wednesdays to continue this journey of serving our community, and witnessing more of His incredible works with us!

Interim Staff

With the departure of our Pastor of 10 years, Jason Peacock, we are blessed to have two gentlemen with distinguished  backgrounds in church work. They will be alternating every two weeks in the pulpit. Below are brief bios for both men.

Clay Huddleston

Clay Huddleston

Sunday Morning Preaching

Clay was raised in Nashville, Tennessee, educated at Vanderbilt University, trained and employed as a Human Resource professional, spent many years managing corporate and local governmental personnel practices, solving labor relations problems, developing managers and executives and overseeing employee benefit programs. Having an entrepreneurial spirit and executive skills, Huddleston later created, owned, and directed small companies in Tennessee and Geogia over a 20-year period in various industries such as management consulting, business brokerage, correctional counseling, magazine publishing and distribution.

A churchman since a boy, was raised in the United Methodist Church. Received the gift of Faith in Christ in 1974 at a non-denominational Bible conference and was born again by the Spirit of God. Immediately began to seriously study the Bible, witness to others of his transformation, and speak with men about their eternal souls. Served 10 years in full-time Rescue Mission work as an urban missionary in Memphis and Nashville among the hurting, homeless and poor. Attended conservative evangelical churches, serving ultimately as deacon and elder in Tennessee, and ruling elder in Georgia while engaged in personal ministry. Led church small groups, boldly taught the Word in adult Sunday School Classes, spoken at Men’s Conferences and effectively counseled men during times of crises, failure and discouragement.

Today loves to write creatively, counsel men, encourage, pray, study God’s Word and use the gifts granted by God to serve others and bring Honor and Glory to Jesus Christ.
